Birthday Weekend

It was another busy weekend at our house!
Saturday was my birthday and we celebrated with Dave's family by going to brunch, then back to his sister's house (for some garage sailing, gifts, and cake), before heading to our nephew's little league game. It was a good, but long day!
On Sunday, poor Dave spent ALL morning working. Once Emma was down for her nap, I went and got a much needed manicure and pedicure with one of my birthday presents. Then it was a trip to Target... The highlight of Sunday was Emma getting to play in her Nemo pool for the first time. She had a BLAST! Dave mowed our very long grass with frequent breaks to play with Emma. I even got to use my anti gravity chair for the first time!
Dave tried our my chair and decided he liked it so much he wanted one too... So, after dinner we took a trip to Kohl's (where they are on sale) and got one for him. Since we were out, we decided to celebrate the first warm weekend of the year with ice cream. YUM! While we can't do that every weekend, it is nice to be a little spontaneous and get ourselves a treat.
