About a month ago, Dave and I called Wells Fargo (our mortgage company) and started their no closing costs refinancing program. By doing that, we didn't get the lowest rate available, but we will still be saving about $150/month. Well, we did our part and sent in all the documents requested. Over a week ago, our case manager asked for one more document that we'd already sent him, so we sent it in again and expected to hear something. We didn't hear anything, so we sent him an e-mail and he never replied, so Dave called today and found out that the guy had quit. Our refi had just been sitting there.....
Needless to say, we are a little frustrated. Because they are our current mortgage company and will be the new mortgage company, they have no incentive to hurry up with the process because we are making the higher payments.
Grrr..... it would be really nice to get all of this taken care of... I mean who can't use the extra money every month?
