We had full and action packed weekend!
Saturday started out with a trip to the Morton Arboretum in Lisle to do some exploring of the walking paths and Animal Houses exhibit. We weren't able to walk and explore as much as we wanted because some of the prepared trails are cleared areas lined with wood chips and aren't conducive to a stroller. We still ad a great walk and got some wonderful ideas for sprucing up our backyard in the ground cover garden.
The rest of our Saturday was very uneventful... Mainly because Dave spent the afternoon working. BOO!
On Sunday, Dave and his Dad went to pick up our "new" freezer and got it set up in the garage. Emma spent some quality time on her swing for what may be the last time this fall. That afternoon, we went to Jack and Kyle's birthday party and everyone had a blast. The boys got a ton of cool gifts! Not long after we got home, we started seeing tornado warnings on the TV. While we never had bad storms here, it did rain and got super windy. The wind continued throughout Monday and it's down right chilly today...
