End of Summer

We had a nice, but busy Labor day weekend.
Saturday was my day to get my haircut, so Dave took Emma to the park. She had fun until she ran into a little boy bully who wouldn't let her even get on the play set. The kid;s Dad didn't do much about the behavior, so they left.
Sunday we were all at Julie's for Canasta. It was a lot of fun, even though Dave and I both lost more than we won.
Monday we were back a Julie's for a cook out. We had fun visiting with everyone and Emma had a blast playing with all the kids. Having two big days in a row was a lot for Emma and it showed. She didn't sleep that well Monday night and she wasn't all that excited about play group yesterday. She played and seemed to have fun, but she was definitely willing to leave after about 30 minutes.
It's hard to believe that another summer is in the books, especially since we didn't have much summery weather.
