Swingin!!

Back in the early part of the summer, we bought Emma a Little Tykes swing. When my parents were here in June, we made a trip to Home Depot and got the materials to hang the swing from one of the trees in our front yard. Dad climbed up into the tree and got everything set up and Emma HATED the swing.
For the rest of the summer, she would play with the swing when it was sitting in the entry way of the house. She loved to climb in and hang out. She even liked the swing when it was hanging in the tree... as long as we didn't try to put her in it!
We FINALLY had a swing break through! On Thursday, Emma and I were at the park and she was very curious about the swing set. She wanted to try the "big" swing, so I got her up there and we both held on as I gently guided her back and forth and she liked it!
We tried the Little Tykes swing on Thursday night and Emma liked that too! We were absolutely amazed... Even more amazing is that Emma actually asked to go swing on Friday afternoon and today we had her in the swing and she didn't want to stop!
